Our quiz night took place on October 26...

Barn Dance

On the 28th of September 2024, we held a Barn Dance at the hall, with guest vocalist Andy Phoenyx and line dancing instruction from Michaela Bennetto. This was the first time we ran our newly licensed bar for the event too, which may or may not have helped with the dancing! A good time was had by all as these pictures show.

Flower arranging 

On the 10th of July, 2024, we held a flower arranging workshop, where the participants created some lovely flower basket arrangements, guided by Bernice, our local expert florist. Here are a few pictures from that event. 

80th anniversary of D-Day Afternoon Tea

On the 9th of June 2024 we commemorated the 80th anniversary of the D-Day landings with a 1940's themed afternoon tea in the village hall. With a hall full of guests, we put on an afternoon tea, with the hall decorated with bunting and a selection of music from the period. As you can see from the pictures below, a good time was had by all!
